Four Oaks - Dennis Clemens, age 76, of Four Oaks, North Carolina died on Thursday, May 2 at SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dennis was a resident of Bucks County for over 50 years before retiring to North Carolina.

He took fashion cues from no one and was often seen rocking the socks and sandals trend long before it went mainstream. Dennis loved to garden, he was an avid Trump supporter and a big fan of teaberry ice cream. He had love in his heart and tried to share it as best he could with those around him.

Dennis was the beloved husband of the late Cynthia Clemens (nee Bowyer) and proud stepfather to her son, Mathew Bowyer. He was the devoted and loving father of Jodey Given (James), Dana Devine, Kelly Clemens and Christina Clemens; and grandfather of Bonnie Hoyer, Connor and Cadence Given, Montana Marthers, and Hunter, Miller, Cody, and Carter Devine.

An invitation to honor Dennis' memory and celebrate his life will be extended to family and friends.

The family has requested that memorial contributions in his name be made to the American Red Cross where he was a dedicated blood donor.

I would see Dennis outside, across the street and I would go over to say "Hello". More times than not, that `hello´ turned into a long, intense, enjoyable conversation. I looked forward to those times. I missed them when he moved. Rest easy Dennis. God Bless you and may your family find comfort in all the happy times.
