To Pat, and my niece, and nephews, I would like to say how sorry I am for the loss of your Dad, and my brother. I have his high school picture on my living room end table, and so I see his face every morning. When he moved to Florida, I loss all contact with him.... I called the house when I learned of his passing, and left a message on the answering machine for pat to call me, but I received no call, she may have loss the number. I sometimes tune in Jalyn as he broadcast the collage basketball game, and WOW,,, he has grown up to look so much like denny.
Hope I can get in touch with you all some day. Would love to talk and someday see you all. Please call me at any time of day or night. I would like to send you some pictures of me, my wife, and my daughter ( your cousin ) who will be 49 this october,,,( but don't tell her I told you her age ) :) 412-548-3183. May GOD bless you all.

Dear Mrs.Cuff and family,
Dennis and I were classmates in the School of Pharmacy. We all got to know one another since there were only 30 students in the class. I remember Dennis as bright, and friendly with a great smile which was almost always on his face. May God bless and comfort you in your loss.

Dear Mrs. Cuff and Family:
Dennis and I were members of the 1965 graduating class of the School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University. I was saddened to hear of his death and will always remember him as a warm, friendly, and loyal classmate. We often had to share class notes as Dennis was frequently on the road playing basketball for the Dukes. I am grateful for his friendship and am sure each of my classmates would offer similar sentiments. He was a wonderful person and a true professional.

Pat and Family:
Speaking on behalf of the "Class of 1960" of Fifth Avenue High School and as a friend, team'mate (basketball/football) and clasmate, there are no "Kudos or Accolades" to replace was comes from the heart. Dennis was was one of the rare people who you could call with and idea and he could make it happen. He was reserved and never sought the limelight, headlines or attention but he was always willing to help.He is one most celebrated scholars, one of elite corporate executives and noted athletes ever to come out the City of Pittsburgh Public Schools. He set the bar pretty high for those who came after him. Dennis was generous, he donated all of the gifts given out to the quests and classmates during our "Class Reunions" held for the last (45) years. Due to his ability reconnect the past with humor and truth, he was regularly asked to be the keynote speaker for the "Class of 1960" reunions. We have lost another "Archer" but we have witnessed Dennis's "homecoming" and his rewards of eternal life, peace and love.Dennis, you will not be forgotten and you will always be loved. Pat may GOD bless you and the family and provide you with essential spiritual guidance and support during this time of bereavement.

Dear Pat and children,
My sympathies to all of you on Denny's death. You and Denny had season tickets for Duquesne basketball games for seats at the Civic Arena and the Palumbo Center next to mine and my friend, Skip Alberts in the '70s and '80s. We enjoyed talking basketball with Denny before and during the games and really appreciated his expertise in pointing out some subtleties on the court that we may have otherwise missed. We also got to know Derek and a few of his brothers when they accompanied Denny to the games.
We missed the camraderie with shared with Denny at the games after you moved to Florida. I attended Duquesne after Denny graduated so I never got to see him play for the Dukes but judging from his fine character as a man that I observed he must have been one heck of a Duquesne Duke.
I will keep you and your children in my prayers.

Dennis grew up with my family at Corinthian Baptist Church, sang in the youth group, as one of the main lead singers. Dennis also tutored me in Geometry while I was at Fifth Avenue, which enabled me to pass that course with which I was having difficulty. I had the privilege of typing his papers while I was still at Fifth Avenue and he was at Duquesne because of my typing skills. My twin and I also went to Duquesne University while he was there.
