My memories of Dennis who was my cousin is mostly from our early years together growing up . He was indeed a quiet, lovable child who was liked by all who knew him.
We were fortunate to grow up together along with my cousin Billy Paullin in a close knit family with traditional Catholic values.
Many a Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons brought our combined families together at Tillies' and Joe's or in Helen and Bill's kitchens. This allowed us all to share holiday and birthdays. It also gave the cousins time to play and grow up together.
Dennis let us take the lead and sat back and laughed when our actions wound up getting us into trouble with him saying " Told You So".
Proms, college and marriage wound up taking us down different directions.
Dennis's path was one of a "Quiet Man" who all of us remember fondly and proudly to have called our friend and cousin.
