I worked at the Competition Bureau in the '70s when Dennis was one of the Directors. He was one of the brightest people I met there - always pleasant and friendly and very highly regarded by the people he worked with. My deepest sympathies to his nephews and extended family.

I worked for Dennis in the early 80's at Consumer & Corporate Affairs, & transferred with him to Industry Canada. I always felt he was one of the best bosses I had I my career. I always hoped I'd meet up with him again...May you rest in peace.

Dennis was Director General of Service Industries when I arrived at Industry Canada in 1990. I had the pleasure and privilege of working with him for a number of years and benefited greatly from his wise advice on many occasions. His leadership style and pleasant personality generated positive energy in the office and brought out the best in all of us who were lucky enough to have worked with him.

I worked with Dennis at Industry Canada. He was a great boss and friend. I loved his intellect and wry sense of humour. Always a gentleman. A privilege to have known him and been his friend. My condolences to all his family.

I thoroughly enjoyed working for and with you in the '70s at the Competition Bureau. A rare proponent of the human relations school of management you gave us all the rope and encouragement needed to get the job done and have fun doing it.

Dennis was the intellectual leader of the Competition Bureau in the seventies. His nickname among some of us was Dr. Demento. It was our way of compensating for not being nearly so quick or smart and not a sign of disrespect. Dennis showed me many kindnesses, not the least granting me educational leave to go to McGill, a formative experience for me.
Dennis' nephews and extended family should know he was highly regarded and was the first of the bright young leaders to come to the Bureau during that period of early bloom.

Dennis you were the fairest, best and most positively eccentric individual I have ever had the pleasure to know, to work for and to benefit from his wisdom and mentoring.

We are so thankful to have known you and enjoyed your company at our family gatherings over the years. Great memories of spending many summer holidays when our children were young at your cottage.
Our condolences to your nephews Vincent, Paul and Victor and your best friend Marcel, and Dale and families. You will be missed.

I had the privilege of working with Dennis for many years at Industry Canada. He was a fine person both personally and professionally. Dennis was the kind of person who represented the best qualities of a public servant. My condolences to his friends and family.

Dennis, you were one of the most important people in my life growing up. You and Marcel were the most beloved family to my brothers and I. I am so sad to not have seen you one more time, and that my daughter did not get to spend more time with you. I think that I will always regret that. I have always had the utmost respect for your intellect, more than you probably ever knew. I will always be thankful for having been a part of your life, and will always remember you to my daughter as a blessing for whom we should always be thankful. We will always love you. God bless you, and rest in peace.
