I can't believe that it has been two years since the loss of our brother Dennis. Initially, I saluted Dennis' service to the CPD with a challenge coin illustration that honored his career as, "Chicago's Finest." I now would like to thank him again for his service to our country in Vietnam on behalf of a grateful nation with the Vietnam service ribbon.
Dennis was truly dedicated in service to others. May he continue to rest in peace in God's Kingdom for his ultimate "Welcome Home."

My condolence to the Family. I enjoyed working with Dennis at CAT, he was very helpful to me, teaching me some the intricacies of the job. We shared stories of our passion for motorcycle riding too.
Pleasant memories may He Rest in Peace.

I too was shocked after learning of the loss of our brother Dennis. I also met him working part-timers in the late 70's and later remained friends, 'on the job.'
Dennis was soft spoken and 'impeccable.' Impeccable in his dress, manners and demeanor towards others. He was a quiet giant in his service and dedication to others. Thank you for your friendship Denny over these many years and for your service to our country in Vietnam. May God now embrace you in His open arms for your ultimate, "Welcome Home." Rest in Peace kind sir.

I have known Dennis since 1978 when we worked security at Northwest Federal Savings. Also many years on the CPD. Ridding together on our bikes. Dennis was one of the Greatest guys I have known. Your family will remain in my prayers.

Eileen, I'm sorry to read of the ending of your Father's life with us, and will pray tonight that our good God will sustain you as you begin to adjust to a world without him now. He was exceptionally helpful and generous to us as we were setting up a counseling place for our CPD years ago, and wanted no recognition other than a simple thank you.' May he know God's peace forever now.
