My sympathy to all your family over the loss of Denny! The Kastners, Denny, Mary, and their parents, Grace and Larry were the best of friends when we were growing up as kids. Denny and his family lived down the block from us on Morgan Ave. I remember the first time I met Denny. He was new in the neighborhood and he came to our house, knocked on the door and said, "Is there a little boy I can play with in this house?" He went through our house and noticed that every room was painted, what he thought was yellow. He said, "The living room is "wellow", the bedroom is "wellow", the kitchen is "wellow". I hate the color "wellow"!!!!! I haven't seen Larry and Mary for decades but I never ever forgot them. I have thought about them so many times throughout the years. They were all such wonderful neighbors and friends. How I would love to see Mary, again, some day. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Denny grew up next door to us in Minneapolis. He was a fun kid to know. My brothers and he and the neighborhood boys got into some innocent mischief in those days, gave us a lot of laughs. I recall when my brother, Dick, died at only age 15, Denny sat at my mom's kitchen table and cried and cried. We are so sorry to hear of his illness and passing. We regret we haven't been in touch for some time. We send our dearest heartfelt condolences to the entire family. With love, the Stafford, Mars and Richards from Morgan Avenue, from Rosemary
