Our thoughts and prayers are with the family for the loss of your father. We remember Pete from the early 1970's when we were neighbors on Zink & Market Streets. Our children were always together in those early years. We send our love to each of you.

Mr. Pete Meckel was always such an encouragement to me in the Lord. His genuine heart for God and for others was always a blessing. I look forward to seeing him again someday in heaven.

Pete was so special. John always enjoyed being around Pete. I know he and Pete are sharing fellowship in the presence of our Lord and Savior. My prayers are with all the family.

Pete was at our wedding and prayed over Diane and I way back in April 1981. Diane and I attended Freedom Fellowship with Pete, Nangeline, Gladys and David. Pete made us various pieces of furniture out of red oak. His skills as a carpenter craftsman was unprecedented.
We loved Pete as a brother and he will be sorely missed; however, we know that to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Pete was a wise man, but at the same time, he had a great sense of humor. He will be missed greatly and remembered often. It was a joy to meet him and see the effect he had on all who knew and loved him. My heartfelt condolences.

So long, Pete. I feel such a loss. Mike & I are so going to miss you terribly, but so grateful for you and so happy for your homecoming. I bet, Jesus is so honoring you right now cause you were one of the best men I've ever known. You reflected Him so well and I bet you're both smiling really big!
