I am saddened to hear of Dennis's passing. Dennis and I ran many miles together--on the desert, in races, and at the Rock Springs Rec. Center.
He was a gentle, down-to-earth, friendly person. He maintained a positive demeanor, even after weathering a few personal losses. He worked hard at his job. And he leaves an impressive running legacy--all of those many marathons throughout the USA!
I wish I had the chance to run and talk with him one more time.
My condolences to his spouse and his family...may the miles ahead only grow smoother in this difficult time of loss.
