Dennis RUDDELL Obituary
On September 30, 2012, surrounded by the love of his family, Dennis slipped peacefully away to be reunited with his mother Emma (1990), father Willard (1995) and brother Marvin (2005). Dennis was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba on July 30, 1956, and moved to Regina with his family in 1960. He was proud of his Manitoba roots, and always told people he came from "God's country". Dennis was warm, kind, funny, smart and caring. He made friends wherever he went, and if he was your friend, you had a friend for life. He loved boxing, Formula 1, animals, music, roller-coasters, Halloween, his Mustang and his Mac, but most of all he loved his family. Dennis will be missed and loved forever by his best friend and wife of 15 years, Julie Miles; daughter and son-in-law Jill and Brian Marin and granddaughters Danielle and Jada; son Spencer Ruddell (Amanda Elkin); sister Cheryl Ruddell; nephews Marc Ruddell and Dillon Baker; his English family, Nita Doonan, Paul and Carol Miles, Matt, Ben, Dan, Amy and Devon; and many other relatives and friends across Canada and around the world. Please come and share your memories of Dennis with us on Saturday, October 6, between 1 and 3 PM, at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK. Donations in Dennis' memory may be made to the Regina Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.

To the Runddell Family and Friends,
My prayers and thoughts are with you as the holiday season nears and we remember Dennis.
I recall working with Dennis and enjoying his sense of humour and stories. He always seemed to have a snack on the go at his desk and something witty to share. I think Julie must have had some influence on his snacks as I seem to remember him occasionally coming with vegetables a few times.
I'm glad to have known Dennis, and of course, sad to have heard of his passing.
Rest in peace Dennis, and many blessings for your loved ones; my thoughts and prayers are for you this season.

it really sucked seeing you in the hospital uncle after all those wonderful memories growing up.I don't have too many great n wonderful memories growing up as a kid but every time I was around you,marvin,and grandpa when they were around I always had a great time with all of you.everyone will always love you my uncle and always remember that u have always brought a smile to my face I love you.

My deepest condolences to you all. Dennis was my best friend at Herchmer for many years and I have never forgotten him although life has moved us apart. He was always honest, hard-working and most of all funny at times we'd least expect it. I'll miss him, but even more now and will always remember him. Happy trails, pardner.
