Dennis Salt

As a pupil of St. Mary's in the '80s, I remember Mr Salt as a fantastic headteacher. He instilled manners, respect and kindness to others (including animals). Fond memories.

I missed his passing, which I regret, but I shall always remember him as an exemplary (unequalled?) squire of the Broadwood Men, a wise man and a truly ace bloke I was privileged to know.
Rest in peace, my old friend.

Mr Salt was my headmaster at St Mary's in the 1980s, and I still remember him and his inspiring assemblies (and the morals of the stories) so vividly. A wonderful man and someone I always looked up to. Charlotte x
