Treka and Lahoma were our "across the street" neighbors for over 30 years. We were the best of friends, had many tea parties with our children in their back yard. I shared my roses with Treka's mother and Lahoma. When the children came home, they always visited the Jones. Treka and I spent many hours working on our cars together. I was a pall bearer for Treka. We are so sorry we were out of town and missed the funeral. We shall always cherish our memories of them.

I had Mrs. Jones in the third grade at West Nichols Hills in the 1961-1962 school year. Mrs. Jones was very kind as well as a great teacher. I was a very shy and sensitive child. Mrs. Jones sensed this. I remember being her "teacher's pet." As a current special education teacher I realize that because of my shyness Mrs. Jones went out her way to make me feel special. I have many fond memories of the third grade. I was sorry to hear of her death. Marjie Bass
