Thank you for letting me explore who I was and what I wanted to do with my life when I was a sad, unruly teenager. You guided me with kindness and empathy when I was almost completely lost and I'll forever be grateful. Even though you were only my teacher for a single year nearly 20 years ago, you had a huge impact on who I became as a person. I'll never forget you, Mr. Villnave. Rest in peace.
