In Loving Memory of Derrick Pierce born September 25, 1966, was suddenly taken from us at 12 noon on July, 25, 2012 at the age of 45. Son of Patricia Pierce of Calgary, AB and Anthony Hawkins of Detroit, MI. Brother of Tanya, Tamika, Cheryl, Leah Pierce. Nephew of Wayne Sr., Jimmy, Linda, Elaine, Janette, Cheryl and Pam all of Windsor and Mary, Ella, Charles and Anice all of Detroit, MI. Along with the many cousins and friends of Windsor, ON and Detroit, MI. Visiting will be held at
Morris Sutton Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (68 Giles Blvd. East
519-254-8633)
on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 12 p.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be left at

I was simply devastated to learn of Derrick's passing. I have so many wonderful and sacred memories and I will love and miss him always. I had an opportunity to re connect with him this year after many years and it was incredible to hear him talk about some re direction he was taking. His enthusiasm and optimism was contagious. Derrick had so much love for God and his faithfulness assures me that he being kept and comforted. May he continue to bring those around him joy and laughter similarly to those he touched while he was here. I am so blessed to have known you and been a part of your life Derrick. I love you always.
