Mr. Bowling was born in Chattanooga, TN son of Darla Faye Qualls Bowling Roberts and the late Dewey Lee Bowling. He served his country in the US NAVY and was presently a truck driver for Blanchard Transportation. Wayne enjoyed trucking and playing video games with his grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to his mother of Tennessee, are his wife Martha Potter Bowling of Lamar, two daughters; Donna Kay Bowling of Bishopville, Tasha Bowling of Lakeland, FL, four sons; Nicholas Wayne Bowling of Lakeland, FL, Timothy Bowling, Tommy Bowling, Dewey Wayne Jr. Bowling, all of Knoxville, TN, a step-daughter, Dianna (Bruce) Hayes of Hartsville, a step-son Michael (Joy) Christison of Camden, a number of grandchildren, two sisters; Carolyn Grant of Lamar, Mary Nell Haynes of Trenton, GA, two brothers; Kenny Bowling of Greenville, TN and Randall Cushen of Clifton, TN.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday night at Belk Funeral Home, Darlington.
