GREENSBORO- On Friday, March 24, 2006, Dian Gayle Ward passed away at Moses Cone Hospital.
A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, North Elm Chapel with the Rev. Billy Young officiating.
Dian was born on December 12, 1945 in Guilford County to the late Lonnie and Naomi Ellison.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Jarvis, two brothers, Harold and Allen Ellison and ex- husband, Donald Saunders.
Dian leaves behind her daughters, Donna Saunders of Greensboro, Rene' Neas of Climax, Sharon Joyce of Randleman, Regina Vasquez of Little Washington, Tammy Ellison of Ruffin, Sharon Jones of Climax and Jennifer Catalan of Greensboro; sisters, Christine Bowman and Judy Sutphin; brothers, Charles, Hunter and Pete Ellison; grandchildren, Donnie, Diana, Amber, Otis, Donald, Melissa, Brandy, Donna, Kelly, Samantha, Madison, Logan, Travis, Kristen, Steven and Alex; great- grandchildren, Cameron, Jesus, Heather, Kendis and Adrianna and ex-husband and dear friend, Raymond Ward.
