Many times when my husband Roger and I interact with a customer support person who is rude and nor helpful I say Diana wouldn't allow that on her watch. She was an outstanding person, always perfectly attired and ready to get things done, and generous with her knowledge and experience in business and life. A person anyone would do well to imitate. Her legacy is alive in my life every day. She is not really gone in the way that counts.

My name is Elizaberh Allen and I worked with Lady Di (as we sometimes called her) as her Ad Assistant. She was a great role model to the staff. Even when things went wrong, she would laugh and pick herself up, and get back to work. She had a deep and unshakable faith in God and didn't just talk the talk, she walked the walk. She never tried to run other people down. She was strong and able to face and overcome adversity in her personal life and business life. When I was introduced to her clients, I would always say that I was her personal slave, and I loved her. Her clients would always laugh. She was a great influence on me personally. I loved how she held her own against staff with fancy degrees who undetestimated her over and over again. When she landed the Carpets of Dalton account, downtown tried to take it from her, but the owner said if Diana wasn't his rep, he wasn't doing business with the AJC. People bonded with her, and were loyal to her. She was country girl with a heart of gold, and a pure soul. She was true to herself, and proud of her family and her friends at Buffington Baptist Church. There she received unconditional love, then went out into the world and lived that love everyday. I just learned yesterday she passed. I am so sad I did not know of her passing and missed the visitation. Posted December 14, 2022.
