Diana Teresa Sanchez

Diana Teresa Sanchez, 51, of Altus, passed away on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kincannon Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Victory Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Diana was born on Nov. 10, 1962 in Altus to Jessie and Francis (Viera) Sanchez. She worked as a homemaker all of her life. Diana enjoyed walking, spending time with family and going to church. She was a quiet but outgoing person who loved to make people laugh.

She was preceded in death by her father; son, Manuel Valladares, Jr.; and a grandmother, Maria Sanchez.

Survivors include her mother, Francis M. Viera, of Homestead, Fla.; two daughters, Francis Valladares of Altus, and Marlee Valladares of Altus; a son, Arnold Valladares of Altus; three sisters, Olivia DelaCruz of Altus, Naomie Obando of Homestead, and Betty Avila of Homestead; a brother, Edwardo Viera of Homestead; as well as many friends.

Viewing will be from noon until 8 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. Tuesday morning until service time.
