DIANA WEESE Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Aug. 24 to Aug. 26, 2018.
DIANA LYNN WEESE, 66, of Johnston Heights, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, leaving from Dignity Hospice House at Chapmanville after a courageous battle with multiple illnesses. She was born on November 27, 1951, at Man, a daughter of Doris Alice Wells Curry Reedy of Davin and the late Rev. Lewis Edward Curry. Lynn was the proud Nana of three granddaughters, Gabrielle Maynard, Hayley Weese and Hope Weese. She was a 1969 graduate of Man High School, where she met the love of her life, her husband of almost 49 years, Bill Weese. Together they brought two amazing children into the world, Angie Tincher and Bill Weese Jr. Lynn was a Christian and a 43-year member of the Man Church of the Nazarene. Until her illness, she was actively involved with the Children's Ministry at her church for many years. Dear to her heart are her brother, Jim Curry and his wife Judy; her stepfather, Rev. Ralph Reedy; her stepsister, Pleasant Hinchman; and her son-in-law, Clay Tincher; several nieces and nephews; and her loyal canine furbaby, Cricket; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Man Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ruth Ann DeLong and Pastor Ollie Parsons officiating. Visitation will be from 1 until 3 p.m. Saturday at the church. Pallbearers will be members of the Town of Man Fire Department and L.E.A.S.A. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Dignity Hospice, 577 Main Street, Chapmanville, WV 25508. Online condolences may be sent to www.krantzmcneelyfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
