Diane Brough Obituary
Diane Hannifin Brough, age 71 passed through the veil on Saturday May 4, 2013 in Nephi, Utah after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born to Max and Norma Hannifin on June 3, 1941 in Fillmore, Utah. She married her sweetheart and love of her life Lynn Brough in the Manti Temple on Feb. 12, 1960.
Diane loved the gospel of Jesus Christ. She had a valiant testimony of the restored gospel. She demonstrated her commitment by serving in many callings including Stake Relief Society presidency and serving with Lynn as ordinance workers in the Manti Temple. She followed the Savior's example by loving others unconditionally and enduring to the end.
Diane truly loved being together as a family. We will miss her special touch she added to every occasion like beautiful table settings, family programs, and her ability to have a party with no detail left unattended. She will always be remembered by her ever optimistic attitude and never ending love.
Diane is survived by her mother of 103 years, husband, who has tenderly cared for her through these difficult days, children, Chad (Lisa), Darren (Rachelle), Lisa Bowles (Jeff), twelve grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Max Hannifin, step father Eldon Sherwood, and sister Cherie Shields.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2013 in the Nephi Stake Center, 345 N 100 W. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 W 300 N, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.

Lynn, it was good to visit with you the other day. I was so saddened by the passing of Diane. She was a valiant lady. Let me share the following with you: "Death isn't what it seems to be....Whatever we were to each other, we still are...nothing has changed...Laugh at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Smile, think of me and pray for me. Know your prayers are wonderful gifts and your thoughts are like a gentle tap on my shoulder...Please understand that all is well".

Lynn and Family:
I was very sorry to hear yesterday of Diane's death. She was such a wonderful neighbor to us years ago in the Nephi Seventh Ward. Diane was so kind and spiritual and good to everyone. May the Lord bless you all as you treasure her memory until you meet again.

I was shocked to read of Diane's illness and passing. We grew up together across the street in Delta. At first I tended her and then we spent many happy days playing together. You have our love and sympathy. I'd like to send some pictures can't find an address.

To Diane's family,
I knew Diane as a teenager. I would spend some of my summers in Oasis, Utah on my Grandpa and Grandma's farm. I knew a group of girls from Delta and area and we had lots of fun and Diane was in that group.
I want to express my sympathy to this family. May you find comfort, peace, and love through our Heavenly Father.
