I worked for and with Diane for some years, starting when she was my neighbor in Duxbury. I was stunned to learn of her death yesterday. I enjoyed working with her and was inspired by her. I'm just so sorry I didn't get to see her again. She was a month younger than I. We have lost a wonderful person.

My Dear cousin Mark and Gabriel family,
I am still reeling from the shock of the sudden loss of our Diane. She was truly a wonderful spirit, and will be sorely missed. I am sorry that bad weather kept us from the funeral, but you were all in our thoughts. Rick and I send all our love and support during this difficult time, and have donated to VSA Vermont in her name.

So very sad to hear this terrible news. I had only met Diane a few times many years ago, but she left a lasting impression of quircky creativity and striking beauty. Her energy will be missed by all who knew her.

Diane was a delightful and unique person, devoted to her family and friends. Her artistic work was multi-faceted and creative. We will miss her joyous laugh and engaging humor. We still laugh at the memory of our first conversation with Diane nearly 30 years ago. She told us she had moved to Vermont so she could grow broccoli. We feel fortunate to have had Diane in our life and will miss her. We send Mark and her family our love.

Diane was a smart, talented, perceptive traveller through this world. She also had a great smile which I will always remember. My condolences to her son and his family, and her husband and his family, and to all who knew and loved Diane.
