On Friday, January 23, 2009, age 95, of Wilmerding, a son of the late Reddy and Smila Visnich. Husband of the late Iva (Hengst) Visnick. Beloved father of John Visnick and Mary and her husband Dave Burket. Dear grandfather of Susan Burket. Brother of Ruth "Ruby" Hague, Sade Miller and the late Mary Lewis, Sophie Phillips, Nick, Miller, Sam, George and Eli Visnick. Also numerous nieces and nephews. He was a store manager for the former Thorofare grocery chain, retired from Westinghouse Airbrake Co. in Wilmerding and a member of Valley Mason Lodge # 613, the Electric Heights Methodist Church and was a former Fireman for Wilmerding and Westinghouse Airbrake Fireman. Friends received at ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC. 201 Marguerite Ave. Wilmerding, Pa. 15148. (412) 824-4332, on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday from 10 am until time of Service in the Funeral Home at 11 am.

John, Mary, & Family: My deepest sympathy for the loss of Pete. He was a very special guy I met him at the mall & use to visit with him daily at they food court with him and his buddies, He will be greatly missed by all of us, his friend Becky Marshall. [I work for State Farm]
