Diane was a good friend and co-volunteer at the Church of the Nativity in Leawood Kansas. Her friendly smile; warm and welcoming each Wednesday as we garhered to beautify our church, helped to create a friendly atmosphere for the Art and Environment committee. Thank you for organizing our fun outings and events. Your loving, creative and hard working presence will be missed.

Diane was my academic advisor and friend. Her laughter, wit, and intelligence are just the beginning of what made her such a special person. I am fortunate for having Diane as a mentor in life.

I had the wonderful pleasure of getting to know Diane last year, when her grandson was in my classroom. She was a dynamic volunteer, who spent time with us on field trips, in the classroom and at parties and celebrations. She was a warm, caring and wonderful mentor to my students. Diane will truly be missed.
Love, prayers and comforting thoughts to all of us who were touched by her kindness.

Diane was an amazing woman. As an alumni of KU Counseling Psychology, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to learn from someone who was so smart, so wise, and so balanced. She was a great woman who used her power and influence in many arenas, but always for good. She will be greatly missed.

Diane was my mentor and advisor at KU. Because of her, I was able to complete my Ph.D. and I wouldn't be where I am today in my life without her guidance and support. You will be missed, Diane. Love and prayers to your family.

Diane was a great lady. I have known her since 1966 while she lived in whitewater. We rode together to Madison and were in the same Counseling Psychology program.
She was with me at the hospital while I was in labor with Lareena.
Ken and my sons Marc and Kent were togather at either our house or her most of the time.
She will always be loved Leota

To Diane's Family: I am at a loss for words, but wanted you to know that your Mother was one wonderful lady and we in KCSA, already miss her terribly! She was the light and sunshine every time I saw her and I will think of her often! I sent her a card when she had her knee surgery, but never heard how she was getting along. I now know and send you my deepest sympathy. It was my pleasure working with Diane, especially this year. I am sorry I will be out of town for the service, but I send to you my best for you and your families. Very Sincerely, Barbara and Jim
