On February 15th, 2015, Diane Yvonne Mercer (Delorme) passed away with her family by her side, after her battle with cancer. She was 64 years of age. Diane will join her parents in heaven, Edward and Colombe, siblings: Bernadette, Wilbert, Kenneth, Leo, Clifford, Vernie and Willie Delorme. She leaves behind her loving husband Edward, daughter Michelle, son Robert, 3 granddaughters: Desirae, Mackenzie and Katrina; sisters: Linda, Rosey, and Claudette, including numerous nieces and nephews. Diane loved to cook and was also an exceptional hunter and fisherwoman. She enjoyed camping with family and friends and sitting by a campfire. A reception to celebrate her life will be held at Knox United Church, 1 Shuniah Street, on Saturday, February 28th from 1pm- 4pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers.

Maybe we weren't as close as we should've been, so my condolences go out to those that were. Uncle Ed, Robert, Michelle and to the grand children. I hope everyone keeps thinking about the nice times :) because I'm sure thats what you would want.
