I was so saddened and shocked when I found out about Diane. I went to high school with her and we were close friends right out of school. I last saw her at one of our class reunions and she saw my Granddaughter, Ava, and said her Granddaughter was Ava too! My daughter and Anthony are the same age. I am so sorry for to all of the family. Shellie Radabaugh Auxt.

My deepest sympathy to Dan and family for your loss. Diane was so brave and generous to share her precious last moments with her sisters at the Chi O reunion in July. I hope that it will be of some comfort to know how deeply she was loved by all.

I was lucky to be a roommate to Diane at Penn State University. I think it was her freshman year. She was always so happy and full of fun and laughter. I was around when she first met her soulmate, Dan. So fun to see them fall in love. Reconnected by phone some months back and she was still the same happy woman. What a loss she will be to all of us who knew her; especially her family. RIP my friend. See you on the other side.

There are no words for your loss. Diane was a wonderful woman, wife, mother, grandmother and 'sister' to all of us at Chi Omega. We were so honored that she made the effort to join us at our reunion in July. We laughed, we cried, we prayed...mostly we listened to her wonderful stories of her family...what unlimited love she possessed! In preparing a slide show for the reunion I came across this picture of her from our college days and thought you might like a copy. I believe this was shortly after her oldest son was born.
Fondly,

Until we meet again, Diane, I pray for your well-deserved peace and renewed spirit. I pray also that Dan and your whole family know how you will continue to watch over them and bring them comfort in the days ahead. You gave 100% in all you did, Diane, and you infected all who loved you with your energy, kindness and humor! We'd lost contact over the years but my memories of you are fond and my heart aches for all of us who have to say so long for now.

Diane's beautiful smiling face is etched in my mind. So full of life. I can still hear her infectious laugh and have always been inspired by her jest for life and her drive and belief in accomplishing all of her educational goals.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you remember a wonderful, loving, wife, mother and grandmother.
Love,
