Dianne Huso Obituary
Dianne Larson Huso, 79, of Stanardsville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was born on November 29, 1942, to the late Victor Russell Larson and Lois Nerem Larson of Cottonwood County, Minnesota.
Dianne devoted her life to education, spending 39 years teaching English, most of that time at Madison County High School in Madison, Virginia. She retired in 2007.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Breckenridge Huso of Stanardsville; her daughter, Deborah Rae Huso of Charlottesville; granddaughter, Heidi Rayna Grimes of Charlottesville; and her brother, Bruce Dean Larson of Worthington, Minnesota.
A formal visitation will be held from 3 and 5 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2022, at Hebron Lutheran Church in Madison.
Dianne's family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Madison County High School, Dianne Huso Scholarship Fund, 68 Mountaineer Lane, Madison, VA 22727.

I graduated from Madison County High School in '73 and I believe I had her as my English teacher in 2 different years. I remember her as devoted to her profession, thorough, appreciative of great literature, strict but kindly also. One year I remember she had us read the Song Of Hiawatha by Longfellow. Rest in peace and condolences to all the family.

I´ll never forget the first day of English class my senior year, Mrs. Huso stood at the front of the class and warned us, "People will tell you I´m mean, now you believe them!" Lol, mean or not, she turned out to be one of my favorite teachers! :-)
