Dianne Peppley

Dianne June Peppley June 20, 1946 April 18, 2010 It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family of Dianne June Peppley announces her passing. Dianne was born and raised in Saskatoon, attending John Lake School, Aden Bowman Collegiate and Saskatoon Technical School. She began her career with AODBT Architects and became a partner with the firm in 1987. After enjoying 25 years of dedicated service, she retired in June 2008. Dianne had a quick wit and a sharp sense of humor, which she kept in fine tune until the end. It was her ease with people and easy laugh that drew many dear friends to her home for frequent and spontaneous get togethers. She had a sense of style and enjoyed beautifying her home and garden, always capturing the hearts of those who enjoyed many summer visits on her deck. She loved the sun (like her cats) and one just knew that on any sunny day in summer months you would find her sunning herself outside. She was a person that worked hard and planned a hot vacation every winter, visiting Cuba, Hawaii and Mexico several times. In retirement she looked forward to spending the winter months in Mexico. One of her fondest vacation memories was spending six weeks in an apartment in Bucerias where she enjoyed time with friends, family and grandkids. Dianne is survived by her loving husband, Ron Fernuk, his children Shauna (Ahmed), Michael (Carolyn) and Darren (and his son Jericho); Dianne's two daughters, Terri Van Lambalgen (Calvin) and her son Austin, and daughter, Chase of Calgary; Tammy Van Lambalgen and her daughter, Taylor; the father of her two daughters and special friend, Gerald Van Lambalgen; sister, Carolynn (Bill) Halbert of Lacombe and their children, Darren (Heidi), Brian (Jody) and Darryl (Liane) and their families; stepmother, Arlene Peppley, step-sisters, Heather (Larry) Johnson and Janice (Brian) Epp. As well as other family and many friends. Dianne was predeceased by her mother and father Anne and Len Peppley. A special thank you to all the doctors and staff at the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic, the homecare nurses that were kind and understanding with our changing needs, Safeway Pharmacy at Circle Centre, Ambulatory care and the incredible staff at St. Paul's Hospital. Terri and Tammy would also like to thank Janet Arnott for being their rock during this very difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel (east on 8th Street, turn right before the railway track), on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow. Private family interment.
