Dino Joseph Bencivenga

Dino was a resident of West Bloomfield for 12 years, formerly of Bloomfield Hills, Berkley, Beverly Hills and Southfield. He was a graduate of Berkley High School and attended the University of Detroit. He was the founder and owner of Bencivenga Insurance Agency. Dino was proud of his Italian heritage and was a member of the Italian-American Club in Livonia. He was a devoted grandfather and Detroit sports fan. Dion enjoyed golf and travel. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Riley) for 37 years. Dear father of Dante (Stephanie), Andrea Nieri (Dan), Gian, Todd, Joseph (Marisol), Loretta and the late Greg. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Son of the late Geralmo and Elide. Brother of Angelo and the late Alina. Former husband of Nancy. Dino will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward (btwn 13-14 Mile), Sunday 5-8p.m. and Monday 2-8p.m. Rosary Monday evening. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11a.m. at Church of St. Owen, 6869 Franklin Rd., Bloomfield Hills. Visitation begins at church 10:30a.m. Memorial tributes to the National Kidney Foundation.
