I am sorry that I will not be there to celebrate Dinty's life but I will be there in spirit.

Just heard from my brother Roy, who went to BCIT with Kathy about this great loss! What a great man, sold me my first canoe, a 1960 Chestnut Prospector, ordered it right from factory in N B! We paddled many miles together with the Chestnut a Canoe Club! I still love my old Canoe! What a wonderful life Dinty enjoyed! Condolences to all his loved ones! I probably have some old slides of those outings! 250-449-2739. [email protected]

To the Moore family,
What great memories I have of Dinty. We met back in 1963 when I bought my Seagull outboard motor from his store on Kingsway. To be followed the next year by a V stern Chestnut canoe. That year was the beginning of the Dogwood Canoe Club, one of Dinty's inspirations. Many adventures and years later we will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of his Club. We will miss you at this gathering.
Sincere condolences.

My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. I remember Dinty with great fondness as I worked at the Arthritis society ( director of physio). Dinty was a true gentleman, great creator, and such a strong source of caring for all the staff and patients. I enjoyed spending time with him when he designed his many creations. He will be remembered always.
