Dion, It has been a year since you enter eternal life, but to us it seems like yesterday. We miss you very much and would love to have you with us for some ham and scallop potatoes on this Easter Sunday. However, as we know, this can't be. We are slowly moving forward, with Jonathan and Jillian, and enjoying Liam, Dewey and the rest of the grandchildren. You will be always in our heart and missed very much.

My deepest condolences on Dion's passing. His Escom (ClassSoftware/Active Network) family was shocked to hear the tragic news of his passing, but remembers his time with us and his spirit fondly.
Karen, I spoke briefly to Dennis at the service. Please let me know if there is ANYTHING we can do to support/assist you and the boys during this difficult time or in the future.
So, so sorry for your loss. Dion was indeed a special fellow. The memories of the struggles, laughs and debates, from the early years at Escom, will always bring a smile to my face.

My condolences to the Walsh family. Although I was not in Dion's options back in school at BCIT. I still remember him teaching us the database class in my first year. I honestly didn't know the importance of what he taught us, until I entered the work force. His teachings became my greatest asset at my work.
It's true what they say "You never cherish the things in front of you until it's gone."
I cannot thank Dion enough for everything he has taught me. I will take all of his teachings throughout my years of working. Thank you!

Dion was an awesome instructor and helped me figure out what I wanted to do with my career. He was strict but always fair, and I have the greatest respect for him. He really got through to his students and taught them not only the subject matter but a bit about surviving in the IT industry. He will be very greatly missed and my thoughts are with his family through this difficult time.

Thinking of you at this very difficult time, wish I could be there. From looking at the photos in the gallery I think it is safe to say the Dion was an outgoing, adventureous man who loved the outdoors and spending lots of quality time with his loved ones. Personally I have never met Dion but I'm sure that this sudden and tragic loss is not easy, but rest asured that God has bigger plans for his angels. I'm sure he has touched the hearts of many that he as met and even those that he haven't met. Dion will never be forgotten. Deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with you all.
