de RUITER, Dirk (Dick) P.Eng July 24, 1927 - July 15, 2009 "For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's." (Romans 14:8) On Wednesday the Lord called Dick home from this earthly life. He will be greatly missed by Johanna, his beloved wife of 55 years and his dear children: Joanne (Clarence) Zeldenrust, Winnie, Len (Joanne), Henry (Nivia), Brian (Torrie); ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A private interment for the family will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery followed by a memorial service, officiated by Reverend W. Pols at 1:00 p.m. at the Orthodox Reformed Church, 11610 - 95A St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Manna" Can. Ref.
