Dixie Lee Freeman (née Beard), 85, passed away on May 27, 2024, in Valley Park, MO. She was born on April 30, 1939, in East St. Louis, MO.

Dixie was the owner of a cleaning business for several years and had a talent for art, being able to draw anything with finesse. She found joy in watching old western movies and had a particular fondness for the song "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Freeman of Fenton, MO, Rick Freeman of O'Fallon, MO, daughter Tina Haverstick of Cedar Hills, MO, grandchildren Nicolas Brewer of Nashville, TN, Cole Freeman and Haley Freeman of Valley Park, MO, Skylar Trommler, Dylan Trommler, and Dalton Trommler of Cedar Hills, MO. Dixie was preceded in death by her son Larry Freeman, husband Gene Freeman, mother Nora Beard, and father Henry Beard.

Dixie Lee Freeman will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but her warmth, artistic talents, and love for life will forever be remembered.
