Marianne and Roberta 2003 at Marie's, Naples
Dr. and Mrs. L. Robert McElmurry
October 30, 2010
Dear Dave and children -
it is with great sadness that we learned of Marianne's unexpected passing. We have many fond memories of joint family gatherings with you and yours - in your home, cottage and at our farmhouse. Roberta spent a memorable week in 2003 at Pelican Bay with Marianne who was looking for a condo for you, Dave! She had a great talent for organizing and so much energy, joy and enthusiasm for what could be done, no matter what the obstacles. She knew how to have fun and we were fortunate to have been included in some of those times. We will miss her. We pray for your comfort and healing during this time of great loss. In Marianne's honor, we will be making a contribution to the Lupus Foundation (Bob's mom died of lupus when he was 12).
With much love and sympathy,
Bob and Roberta McElmurry and family

Dr. Wiedemer & family, we are saddened to learn of Marianne's death. As a former Glencairn teacher to Kristen and Brian, I knew your mother as a positive, loving influence in the lives of everyone around her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Kristin, Dr. Wiedemer, Brian, Scott and Robin,
All of the Spousta family sends their heartfelt sympathy for your terrible loss. Marianne will be remembered by many as a force of nature - strong, talented, determined, creative, passionate and full of life. Of all her tremendous accomplishments, I think her most lasting legacy is the family she and Dr. Wiedemer created -- including her 4 incredible children - Kristin, Brian, Scott and Robin. May you all find comfort in knowing that her beautiful spirit is now at peace and soaring high above.
Love, Kira Walkup (Spousta)

Dave, Robin and all the family - I was so sorry to hear that Marianne had passed away. I remember her visits to New Zealand with great fondness - especially her ability to organise great food for a crowd of people at Steven and Robin's wedding. May you be comforted by fond memories of a lovely lady.
Love from Dianne Mulvey

Dr. Wiedemer, I just wanted to share my condolences to you and your family. What a beautiful photo of Marianne. I was aware she didn't always feel well, but was surprised to see she passed over. I miss my former patients in Dr. Roth's and Dr. Ruster's dental office. I am their former dental assistant, Vicki. It was nice to have known you both.
