Bobby G. Pruitt, 73 of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away on August 31, 2012. He is preceded by his parents Iura and Vance Pruitt of Gastonia, North Carolina. Bobby is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years; 2 sons, Bobby J. Pruitt, Jr., and Timothy M. Pruitt (Carol); Daughter, Donna A. Hysmith (Daniel); 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Finn W. Pruitt; sister, Brenda S. Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bobby worked in the drywall industry for 48 years as a drywall finisher. He enjoyed working hard and having fun. He loved his family, and he always had a kind word, and a helping hand for anyone who needed a hand up. He will be missed and never forgotten by the people who knew him and loved him. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm, in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 10:00 am, in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. Entombment will be held in the Mausoleum of Riverside Memorial Park.
