Dolores Quebe
Went to join her beloved husband, Walt, on Friday evening, October 5, 2012. He greeted her with a gin on the rocks in time for Happy Hour. Dolores was born in Cincinnati, OH and she was the co-founder of Dinner Bell Markets serving as the President since 1992.Her attention to detail helped create and manage a company going strong into its 40th year.
Dolores is survived by her daughter, Karen (David) Counts; son, Deron (Lori) Quebe; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Clayton and Christine Counts, and Maxim and Jackson Quebe, and great grandchild, Ava Griffith; friend and in-law Deanna Dragoo. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Walter.
She was a member of La Sertoma of Greenwood, the German American Klub, and the Red Hats Society generously volunteering her time throughout her life. Dolores was known as a true friend to many, maintaining friendships since grade school. She was fiercely loyal to loved ones with an ability to be brutally honest. A wonderful combination of strength and class, a true original, she will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Forest Lawn Funeral Home , Greenwood. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
