Dolores A. Seigel (nee Sateia), age 89, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at home in Ballwin, MO. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Valley Park and lifelong St. Louisan.
Dolores was the loving Wife of the late Larry Seigel; Mother of the late Linda (Myron) Powers; Grandmother of Rob Powers, Kimberly (Vess) Mitaksov, Scott (Andrea) Powers, Dave (Ashley) Powers, and Andrea (Brandon) Bushong; Sister of Henry “Hank” (Arlene) Sateia, the late Eddie Sateia, and the late Larry Hadley; Sister-in-law of Mary Hadley; Beloved Great Grandmother, neighbor, and friend to each new person she met.
Dolores was a fiercely independent woman who liked things her way and loved her Larry (Pop). She took on the challenges life presented her with determination and dignity, and found happiness in her Catholic Faith, family, friendships, and connections with everyone in her community.
She worked the first part of her career at Target and finished her career at Simon Kohn’s Jewish Deli.
For fun she loved to travel, visiting San Francisco, Chicago, Branson, Tunica, and Boston with Larry and family. Recently she enjoyed exploring the Caribbean, Nashville, Hawaii, and Alaska.
She found happiness in weekly phone calls with family, beauty shop visits with friends, and staying up late watching country line dancing or pawn stars. She loved meals out at Rookies, Texas Roadhouse, Wan Fu, El Nopal, and 1356 Public House. She was always searching for the next perfect bowl of soup which would usually get compared to her favorite Applebee's French onion soup.
She is dearly missed by all that new her but we take solace knowing she is reunited with those who passed before her.
Services will be at a later date.

It's been one year today we all lost a wonderful, strong woman in our life's. You left too soon and are missed by many. Miss your many phone calls, miss the trips we went on and the very good meals we shared. Just being with you made a world of difference. You always had a smile that lite up the room. Love you Delores "Sissy". Love you and miss you so much. Brenda

I didn't know Dolores but, I wish I had. So many things to love about her...
My heart goes out to all her family, friends and especially her big brother Hank... Sissy is safely home in heaven.
