MALLET - Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet, LA., for Dolton J. Thibodeaux, 93, who entered eternal rest, Thursday, February 2, 2012, at his residence, in Mallet, LA.

Interment will be in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Mallet, LA. Fr. Justin, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial.

Mr. Thibodeaux is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mrs. Irene "Ms. Teen" Thibodeaux of Mallet, LA.; five sons, Lawrence Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, LA., Carol Thibodeaux (Brenda) of Houma, LA., Larry Thibodeaux (Joyce) of Mandeville, LA., Donald Ray "Jay" Thibodeaux (Patty) of Thibodeaux Paradise, LA. and Bertrand Thibodeaux (Madonna) of Baton Rouge, LA.; five daughters, Mary Magaline Collins (Wayne) of Erwinville, LA., Mary Dell Jolivette (Joe) of Baton Rouge, LA., Patricia DuRousseau (Daniel) of Baton Rouge, LA., Theresa Thibodeaux (Edmond) of Opelousas, LA. and Marelda LaChappelle (Reginald) of Magnolia, TX.; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

Mr. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by his parents, John "Pop John" Thibodeaux & Bernadine "Mom Dean" Lavergne; a son, Donald Ray Thibodeaux; eight brothers, James, Melvin, Ashton, Eldridge, Autry, Freddie, Paul and John Thibodeaux; two sisters, Aline Gallow and Adeleline Landry.

Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet, LA. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M.
