Don Tibbs On January 9, 2005, Don David Tibbs returned to his Heavenly Father. Don was born to Robert Henry and Frances Mae (Foit) Tibbs on July 16, 1952. Don was raised in Indianola and graduated from North Sanpete High School. He went to Utah State and later transfered to Utah Technical College and met Cheryl Lynne Dennis. They were married April 13, 1973 in the Provo Temple and made their home in Indianola. They had three children, Corey, Jenny, and Shane. Don worked on the railroad at Geneva Steel for about 26 years. Don later started his own long haul trucking business. During these two adventures he ran a dairy farm for 17 years, which was his main interest. Don loved to farm, gab, and travel the world. Don could make friends wherever he went and talk for hours. He loved to work on his farm and tour tractor dealerships. Don also enjoyed riding his horses, camping, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and playing with his grandkids. Don is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of 32 years; his three children, Corey (Shylo) Tibbs of Mt. Pleasant; Jenny (Michael) Rigby of Indianola; & Shane (Tiffany) Tibbs of Moroni; three grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Zane and Colbey Tibbs (Corey) and Jentrey Rigby (Jenny); three siblings, Margaret (Marvin) Shaw of Arvada, CO; Harriet (Ed) Jorgensen of Orem; & Stephen (Kathy) Tibbs of Spanish Fork. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Frances Tibbs. He was loved and will be missed dearly. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the (LDS North Rock Church) (131 E. 100 N.) Fairveiw at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 pm at Rasmussen Mortuary (96 N. 100 W.) Mt. Pleasant and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at the Fairview City Cemetery.
