Anita, Greg and family. Your family has lost a great man and character who will be missed. He was actually fun to work with and always smiled, even if he was yelling at someone! (ha!) He was a great leader for the Plant Board during the time I worked there. Amelia (Looper) Trimble

I worked as the receptionist at the State Plant Board in 1980 right out of High School. Don Alexander was always smiling. His section was the fun office! My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Don was a great member of the Bryant Optimist Club where he impacted many young men, not only in baseball, but also in how to face life's trials. He was a leader and great friend! I learned a lot about how to deal with people in a youth baseball program from Don. He was always the consummate gentleman! Anita and family, my prayers are with you.

Anita,

Kyle and I are very sorry for your family's loss of Don. He will certainly be missed by many. He was a great friend to me both personally and professionally over the years. He had a heart for Arkansas and for agriculture that was exceptional. I'll miss his counsel and the effort he took to provide "historical context" to some of my ideas. In other words, he wasn't afraid to say......."well.....you COULD try that,.....But, (insert wise anecdote here)." His ability to smile and laugh even during tough times continues to be an inspiration.

With Love,
Ben and Kyle Noble

Don was a wonderful person and friend. We worked together on many projects and he always represented honor, humor, reliability, and common sense. I will miss him.

My heart aches for you and all the family. I am so sorry for your loss, and so sorry I am not closer to be of better support for you during this time. I share your loss, and will always have a special place in my heart for Don. This is one of my favorite memories of Don lugging my daughter Marcia around when we visited in 1961.
