Donald M. Arnaud Sr. passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 89 in Palm Coast, Florida.

Born in Clifton, New Jersey, in 1935, Donald was the son of the late Claude D. Arnaud and Alice M. Minnet. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University.

Donald was a lieutenant in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he went on to build a career as an engineer and businessman. He worked at Corning Glass Works and Schott Optical Glass Inc. Later on, he founded Geneva Design, a company specializing in innovative vacuum form mold designs, where he combined his technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit.

He was a long-time resident of Fairport, NY together with his beloved wife Gail L. Arnaud, until her passing in 2018. He was an avid tennis player and a longtime member of the Tennis Club of Rochester, which he joined in 1983.

Donald was also predeceased by his cherished brother Claude D. Arnaud Jr., MD, and his former spouse Katherine C. B. Arnaud.

He is survived by his four children: Anne, Donald Jr., Clay, and Richard; eight grandchildren: Brittany, Mallory, Alex, Emma, Jackson, Michael, Daniel, and Martin; four great-grandchildren: Oakley, Kellen, Cyrus, and Perrin; and daughters-in-law: Dawn, Claire and Zdravka.

He will be remembered for his sharp mind, dedication to his work, enthusiasm for tennis, and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, perseverance, and warmth.
