AYER, Donald Joseph On December 16, 2006 Donald Joseph Ayer of Edmonton passed away at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his best friend and loving companion Joan Oscroft and her family; Don's children Tom, Margaret Ann Neilson and Daniel, all of Calgary, Jimmy and Gerry, both of Red Deer and their children; his brother John, of Calgary as well as many other relatives and friends. Don is predeceased by his son Don Jr. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, Box 4700 Station South, Edmonton, T6E 9Z9.
