I first met Don around 1973 when we were both working at Endsley & Son Funeral Home. We quickly became good friends and introduced me to Scotty and Bea Huson at the Howett Street Christian Church. We both attended there for a number of years and that church was a blessing to both our families. I watched Tim, Laura and Scott grow up at Howett Street.
Knowing Don changed my life. Don could look at people and know when they were hurting. Many times I saw him take what money he had in his wallet to buy someone a meal or find them a place to stay. I view life differently because of him. Don was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be missed.
