Donald Bash

Donald L. Bash of Vancouver, WA, left us too early on December 5, 2011, at the age of 67. He was born and raised in Vancouver, WA, and graduated from Hudson's Bay High School. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Juanita, who passed on June 28, 2011, parents, Earl and Roma Bash and brother, David Bash. He served in the U.S. Army, and retired in 2000 after 30+ years from the Camas paper mill as a paper machine millwright.

Don loved to bowl and was currently on the team "Yeaaah Baby" at Crosley Bowl. He also loved watching the Prairie High School girl's bowling team, coached by his son Donn, and could tell you most of their scores. He also enjoyed golfing and watching his grandchildren play multiple sports. He was a tremendously dedicated husband, dad/stepdad, and grandfather.

Don was a gentle and kind soul that reflected in how he treated family, friends, and the animals that frequented his backyard.

Don is survived by his children; daughter Brenda (Marty) Snell of Camas, WA, son Donn (Rhonda) Bash of Brush Prairie, WA; stepchildren Lori Beecham of Scottsdale, AZ and Charles Lane of Portland, OR. Don had two grandsons; Tanner and Andrew Snell and two granddaughters; Madison and Lilly Bash. Don is also survived by his brother Terry and sister Ellen.

A Memorial Service and reception will be held December 28, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Camas Washougal Wildlife League, 811 SE Leadbetter Road, Camas, WA.
