We regret to announce the passing of Donald Eugene Bradley, aged 78, who passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024.

Don served in the United States Marine Corp serving 2 tours in Vietnam as a dog handler. As part of his service, Don earned National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Navy Unit Citation, Rifle Expert Badge, Good Conduct Medal (First Award) and Presidential Unit Citation. Throughout his service, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. Following his time in the United States Marine Corps, Don worked as a tractor operator for 35 years.

Don was a devoted family man, who loved his family above all else. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was well respected, cherished and loyal to many.

In his free time, Don enjoyed fishing and hunting which brought him joy and relaxation.

Remaining to cherish Don's memory are his beloved wife Karen, 2 children, (son) Scott and (daughter) Theresa. 4 grandchildren, Mitchel, Courtney, Mason and Makenna and (sister) Diane North Bradley as well as many other family and friends.

Preceded in death are Don's parents, (mother) Doris Brandon Bradley, (father) A.B. Bradley, (stepmother) Louise Bradley, (brother) Larry Bradley and (sister) Barbara.

Visitation will be held on December 3, 2024, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 912 53rd Ave W, Bradenton, 34207. The funeral service will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 SR 72, Sarasota, 34241 on December 4, 2024, 12:30 p.m.

Immediately following the service please join the family for a Celebration of Life to remember Don at Myakka State Park, South Pavilion, 13208 SR 72, Sarasota, 34241.

Don was a great friend & I will miss him as a fishing buddy & he was a one -of -a -kind special person. When in need, just look up & here would come Don. Our loss is Heaven“s gain. Our deepest sympathies go out out to his family. With our love & prayers .
