Robert "Duane" Reynolds, 53, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away suddenly on October 4, 2013 after contracting the bacterium Vibrio Vulnificus while fishing in Santa Rosa Sound near Shoreline Park.
Duane was born in Anniston, Alabama on August 24, 1960 and graduated from Gulf Breeze High School. He was the sole owner of Down Home Wild Animal & Termite & Pest Control Company.
He is survived by his parents, Lee and Jo Reynolds; sister, Stacie (Lane) Wright; brother, Blake Reynolds; nephews, Heath Percy and Kevin Wright; nieces, Brooke Reynolds, Sydney Wright, and Kandace Wright and several great nephews and nieces; Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Duane was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Memorial Service to be held at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Chapel at 4:00pm, Tuesday, October 22, with Revs. Lester and Janeese Spencer officiating. Reception/Visitation immediately following service in the Music Suite. Final resting place will be at the "Memorial Garden" at GBUMC.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions being made to the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
A special Thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff members at Gulf Breeze Hospital and Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
