I've been trying to locate my Cohen relatives in Scituate. Donnie was a dear cousin with whom our family (Bender) shared love and regular visits. I've beautiful memories of afternoons spent in the house on Clapp St. Condolences are long overdue, but heartfelt and loving to all his family.

I was searching for my Cohen relatives in Scituate and that's how I learned of Donnie's passing. I'd lost tract of him many years ago. His Dad and my Mom were first cousins. They were very close: we visited them often and loved them all. This note is long overdue--my condolences to all his family. I hold memories of times together in my heart.

My deepest sympathies to all of you during this period of sorrow. I knew Don while at Nichols and enjoyed his pleasant company and good humor. i wished our paths had crossed as life progressed but sadly that was not to be.
God Bless.
Sincerely,

Met Don when I lived in Hingham and he was manager of the video store in Stop and Shop. He was a great friend to know as we use to joke around every time we met which was often. He will be in my thought and prayers to his family

Thank you ,my dear brother in law, for your love, your kindness, your laughter, and strength. You have been a dear friend , a supporter in times of grief and frustration,a calming voice in the face of chaos, and a trusted confidant . I will miss your, laughter, and sensitive advice, but I will hold you in my heart with the warmest of memories forever. I rejoice in the fact that there is no more suffering for you and you will once again dance with your love ,Carolyn, in heaven. Your work, is done and the reward of your three devoted and loving sons will share your wisdom and wear your legacy with pride. So many people loved you and your mark on this world was the pleasure of all who knew you! Rest easy my man....you have left the seeds of true caring. You will always be loved. ..May God bless you and your precious family, Andrea.

Don, you stayed strong amid the particular setbacks presented to you. Raising three strong sons, you were there for them in good times and bad. You married well a second time and that marriage thrived until struck down prematurely by that most insidious of diseases. So back came your boys who helped you get back on your feet and live the good life. They were with you all the way to the end...as good sons are meant to do. You met the end with a realistic class and objectivity...we watched you struggle. Your sense of humor and respect for reality was an inspiration to all. Rest easy and know that all will be well. You will be missed.
