Donald John Craig, Sr., 69, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.
Born in Seven Valleys, he was the son of the late Elmer W. Craig and Marie Frank. He worked for Lyon Metals, Caterpillar, Fyphon and PCA. Don served as a PA Deputy Game Warden for many years. His memberships included the York UAW 786 and lifetime member of the NRA. He loved hunting, fishing and classic cars.
Per his request, there will be no formal services. Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery, Glen Rock May 28, 2018 at 1 p.m., family and friends welcome.
The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Craig is survived by his son, Donald J. Craig, Jr. and wife, Dolores of Glenville; his granddaughter, Tiara Craig of Glenville; two sisters, Barbara Buser and husband, Don of Hanover and Yvonne Baer of York; two brothers, Lawrence Craig and wife, Dee of Hanover and Elmer "Joe" Craig, Jr. of Glen Rock; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Chadwick "Chad" Craig.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Megan Barnhart and Hospice & Community Care, Mt. Joy for the care and kindness showed to Don and his family during his illness.
