Donald Bruce Craig, 79, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Peru, NY passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born June 6, 1944, in Scranton, PA, son of the late William Bruce Craig and Dorothy Mary Griffiths Craig.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria "Jean" Craig.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbie Lyn Craig (Todd Babbie) of Plattsburgh, NY, Donna J. Craig-Wright (Dean) of Schuyler Falls, NY, and Kathy Gizzi (Philip) of Myrtle Beach, SC; six grandchildren, Jessica Carte, Tia Provost, Bailey Wright, Alexis Provost, Theresa Gizzi, and Michael Gizzi; great grandchildren, Aislyn Zwart, Kyrah Zwart, Isaiah Hamilton, Leo Cyr-Wright, and Phoenix Wright; brother, Robert Craig (Cathy) of Waverly, PA; brother-in-law, Gary Peffer (Kathryn) of Colorado; and his significant other, Fran Cooper of Myrtle Beach, SC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A celebration of Don's life will be held at a later date in New York.

I was so sorry to hear of Dons passing. I just learned about it this morning. I cut his hair for many years and I enjoyed many pleasant conversations with him. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his family and friends.
