Donald DAHL Obituary
May 16, 1955 - February 14, 2016
It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing of Donald Robert Dahl Jr. who died at the age of 60 years at home on Feb 14, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
Don worked for the City of Edmonton in the Transportation Department for 39 years.
Donald leaves to mourn his loving wife and best friend, Holly Dahl, his children Michael Dahl and Tara (Ryan) Williams, his grandchildren, Jordyn Wildman Dahl, Tyson and Vincent Williams. He also leaves his mother, Billie Dahl and his mother-in-law, Marjorie Tookey; his sisters Edith dePencier (Dave), Connie Shore, Cara Taylor (Ken), Joanne Friesen (Tim); his brothers/sisters- in-law, Dan (Denita)Tookey, Keith (Sandy) Tookey, Lorie Courtnage, Debbie (Ben) Shirley and Wendy (Dennis) Bainbridge and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends and extended family. Don is predeceased by his father, Donald Allen Dahl Sr, his father-in-law Frederick Tookey and his brothers-in-law Barry Tookey and Dave dePencier.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 13111-79 Street, NW Edmonton, AB.
Following the service, a light luncheon will be held in the basement.
Donations can be made to: Christ the King Lutheran Church 13111-79 Street, Edmonton, AB T5C 1J4; or Northern Alberta Renal Program (NARP) Admin, Room 5H2.26 University of Alberta Hospital.

I was remembering Don today and Googled his Name and learned he passed 9 years ago. I live in LA Calif for past 18 years so out of touch for a long time. We were best friends with Don and Holly from 1980 to 1995. At 70 years old I am remembering my past life and old friends. Sad to know Don is no longer alive. So sorry Holly. I have many memories of you both. God Bless!
