Dr. Donald Jeffery Ebalo, 96, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Naperville, Illinois. A devoted son, husband, father, and man of faith, he lived a long and meaningful life rooted in service, education, and spiritual devotion.

Born on March 11, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Ebalo was the son of Maximo M. Ebalo Sr. and Coleana Jeffery Ebalo. He pursued higher education at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, laying the foundation for a distinguished professional life marked by dedication and perseverance.

Throughout his life, Dr. Ebalo remained deeply connected to his faith community. He worshipped at several parishes across Illinois including Our Lady of Angels in Chicago; Saint Matthew Church in Glendale Heights; Saint Michael Church in Wheaton; and Saint Daniel the Prophet in Wheaton. These places of worship were not only spiritual homes but also centers of community where he found strength and fellowship.

Dr. Ebalo was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosemarie P. Ebalo; his son Kevin J. Ebalo; his parents Maximo M. Ebalo Sr. and Coleana Jeffery Ebalo; his brother Maximo M. Ebalo Jr.; and his sister Thelma L Jose.

He is survived by his son Brian, who carries forward the legacy of a man whose life was shaped by resilience and guided by faith.

May Dr. Donald Jeffery Ebalo's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting testament to a life well lived. A Wake will be held on July 27, 2025, from 12:45 PM to 02:45 PM at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home 430 E Roosevelt Rd
