I would like to pay tribute to one of the finest
of family Doctors.
Dr Donald James Fairclough who passed away on 14th February at his home in Scotland.
As well as being a household name in Hoyland he was also Husband Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle and friend to many. Committed to his community, Chairman of The Revellers, President of the prestigious Elsecar Musical Festival Society and President of Elsecar and Hoyland Chrysanthemum Society, University Dr responsible for the training of new GP's Police Doctor Dr for Mother and Baby Clinic and so much more. May he rest in peace.
